I’m Peter John Cubbon Craine, a Birmingham (UK)-born author now Spanish citizen living in Gran Canaria with my ginger cat, Olly. 🐱☀️

I write M/M fiction across genres: steamy contemporary romance, historical, comedy, gritty thrillers and sci-fi. From Pompeii to Cold War East Germany, a robot husband in London to a bent copper in Birmingham, my stories are about ordinary people caught up in extraordinary situations, usually with a healthy dose of humour, danger and heat. And always with heart. 💛

My debut novel, One Nation Burning, is a fast-paced political thriller about ordinary people taking on an authoritarian America, and it’s still my most reviewed book and the one I'm most proud of.

When I’m not writing, I go hiking, read at the beach, make convincing fake food and cocktails out of plaster, clay and resin. 🍰 or make little clay sculptures. (Visit my website to see what I mean!)
